The buying guide

How to choose a business website or online store

A practical guide to first-year costs, delivery, renewals, and the right scope for your business.

Start with what customers need to do: learn about your business, send an enquiry, or place an order. Then compare the included scope, first-year price, annual care, and the materials needed for launch. The figures below come from Visiona's published service plans.

How much does a business website cost?

Visiona's Instant Website starts at IDR 2,490,000, a product catalog at Rp4.490.000, and an online store with checkout at Rp7.490.000 for the first year.

Compare quotes against the number of pages or products, the materials you can supply, the design work, and any payment or shipping requirements. Copywriting from scratch, additional product population, and bespoke functions need an agreed scope.

How long does a website take to build?

Visiona lists 3–14 working days for Instant Website and 8–14 working days for Instant Commerce, depending on the package. Production starts after the required business, brand, and product materials have been received.

Prepare your logo, business information, page copy, images, and product data before production. Feedback, domain arrangements, and payment-provider approvals can affect the launch date. Confirm the schedule once the scope and materials are ready.

What do website renewal fees cover?

The first-year price covers the build and the first year of care. From the second year, annual renewal pays for the agreed Website Care or Commerce Care package. The initial build fee is charged once.

Care includes hosting, domain renewal under the domain policy, SSL, updates, backups, monitoring, and standard technical support. Commerce Care also covers payment and shipping plugin maintenance and transactional email checks. New pages, product input, features, and integrations need a separate scope; gateway transaction fees remain with the merchant.

Should I choose an instant website or custom development?

Choose Instant Website for a standard company profile or landing page, and Instant Commerce for a standard WooCommerce catalog or store. A custom project suits a bespoke customer experience, business workflow, or integration requirement.

Instant packages adapt a curated starting design to your brand and content within a defined scope. Custom work starts with your specific requirements and receives a project-based quote and schedule. Write down the functions your business needs before choosing a package.

When does a WooCommerce store need custom integration?

Ask for Custom Commerce when you need ERP or POS connections, marketplace inventory and order synchronization, multiple warehouses, custom B2B pricing, or a bespoke checkout or logistics workflow.

Online Store and Store Plus include one Visiona-supported standard payment integration and one standard shipping integration. Catalog uses enquiry and WhatsApp flows with cart and checkout disabled. Confirm supported providers and the required merchant accounts before agreeing to an integration scope.
